It’s may of been a years. Maybe five. Maybe ten. Maybe longer. But even now, there are moments when it feels like it just happened yesterday.
Losing a child is a grief that defies language. In the beginning, everything is raw. You’re in survival mode—waking up, breathing, eating (barely), and somehow making it through the day. People check in. Cards arrive. Meals are delivered. The world, for a time, holds its breath with you.
But eventually, life moves on. For everyone else.
